The U23 will take on a Western Metro Mens side made up of Altona Lacrosse Club, Footscray Lacrosse Club & #willylax players. Game This Tuesday, 6:45PM @ Fearon Reserve, Williamstown. Three father/son’s took the field in div3 on Saturday to defeat MCC Bendigo 10-5. If they have careers like their fathers #willylax is in good hands.

Past weekend State League results saw #willylax defeat a late charging Footscray team 13 – 12 by in Overtime. #Willylax came out of the blocks early to be up 8-4 at the main break. Footscray reduced the margin to 3 by 3/4 time (10-7). Then a 5-2 last quarter drew the game at 12-12 after regulation time. Harry Gibson scored the game winner early in OT. Liam Clarke had a strong performance with 4 goals.
The Members of the Williamstown Lacrosse Club were saddened today by the news of the passing of Sandra Calvert.
Sandra was a valued member of our club, serving for many years on the General Committee and the Social Committee.
Sandra was our Scorer for many years scoring in excess of 450 games for our club.
We extend our deepest sympathy to her husband Garry and her extended family.

WLC will be hosting our 1982, 1992 & 2012 premiership team reunions BBQ on Saturday 4th June from 1pm. State League play’s Caufield from 2:45 pm. If someone has a photo of the 1982 premiership team please let us know!
The annual $1000 draw will be held on Saturday 18th of June at 7pm in support of the 6 WLC representatives’ heading to the 2022 U21 World Championships in Limerick, Ireland in August.

Junior Teams train on a Tuesday & Thursday evening between 5.30 and 6.30pm and play games Saturday mornings.
Senior teams train on Tuesday and Thursday nights at 6:30 and play games on Saturday afternoons.
Training is held at the Fearon Reserve on the Esplanade near Williamstown Beach.
