In 2011 Williamstown Lacrosse Club lost a club stalwart, family member and friend in Dave Palmer or Uncle Dave as many of us knew him. Dave loved Williamstown sporting clubs and especially the Lacrosse club. To honour his memory WLC, in 2011, launched an initiative to get families to spend a whole day down the club so when fixtures align we hold as many home games on the Fearon Reserve as we can and we run clinics and supply food, drink and entertainment all day with the last game of the day being the State League Fixture.

Uncle Dave Palmer Family Day will return again  in 2021 on a date to be confirmed.
